Inspection Geni to showcase at SolidWorks World 2012 in San Diego, California

SolidWorks Gold Partner program, Inspection Geni, enables manufacturers to gain a competitive edge in the Indian marketplace

Hertzlia, Israel February 10, 2012 — Hertzlia, Israel February XX, 2012 – choosing this moment to release the latest version of the SolidWorks add-on software inspection solution, Inspection Geni 3.1, Albitech has confirmed its intention to participate at the SolidWorks World 2012 event in the USA.

Held from February 12-15, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, the show will provide the SolidWorks Gold Partner an ideal platform to showcase its solutions to designers and QA managers, as well as manufacturers across the board.

Having positioned itself as a major player in the growing Indian manufacturing / CAD-CAM software market, Inspection Geni is beginning to reap the benefits of this solution with customers such as Leeboy-India and others, lining up to adopt its technology.

“According to Doron Sashkis, CEO, Albitech, the developer of Inspection Geni, Inspection Geni 3.1 offers a host of new features, including:

  • Automated functions such as Ballooning Dimension IDs & Track Changes History
  • Enhanced Performance and Quality improvements for a more continuous workflow
  • Fundamental changes to your product development process
  • Extensive support for project collaboration and team connectivity

“The unique selling point of the newly-released Inspection Geni 3.1 is its ability to automatically record a history of the changes made to any drawing once it has left the designer’s desktop. It is this feature that enables designers to promptly and accurately respond to any changes or inquiries,” he explains.

In the past this wasn’t possible as the process became a manual one once it left the designer’s desktop. So should an error take place or a misunderstanding occur regarding a particular dimension, the designer would not be able to easily identify the problem,” he explained. “Typical drawings can have hundreds, or thousands of dimensions, and without a dimensional ID the designer will struggle to locate the problem and then correct it.”

Today, using IG 3.1’s dimension ID’s and history module, designers are now able to promptly and accurately respond to any changes or inquiries.

Speaking from India, Sridhar M C said Inspection Geni 3.1.0 is SolidWorks software taken to a new dimension. “It offers customization of company specific property settings, and generates detailed history reports that benefits SolidWorks designers in India by allowing them to track the changes made to all dimensions and custom properties,” he concluded.
